Featured Painting
This painting was inspired by Gayle's husband, Dwight who has a interest in Sherlock
Holmes. Dwight, as a police K-9 officer, was better known to his fellow officers as "Sherlock"
(his last name is "Holmes", and his partner, "Watson", a German shepard). Several years ago, while on a trip to London, Dwight and Gayle stayed at the Sherlock Holmes Hotel, visited the Sherlock Holmes Pub and the Sherlock Holmes Museum, where the inspiration for this painting was born. On returning home from Europe, Dwight was even more intrigued and contacted the local Puget Sound-area Sherlock Holmes Club, "The Sound of the Baskervilles". (http://www.soundofthebaskervilles.com/) After attending several meetings Dwight and then Gayle became members.
A copy of this painting, Sherlock's, is featured on the cover of "The Sound of the Baskervilles"
